Chapter Nine
"I know what you're doing," said Harry as he walked into Draco's study.
"Have you heard of knocking?" asked Draco as he looked up from his papers. "What is it that I am doing?"
"The business with Miss Ginny. I saw you watching her yesterday. You brought her here to get better acquainted with her. Is she the one you want to marry?"
"Yes. And?" said Draco looking back at the papers on his desk.
"And? You can't go through with it," said Harry.
"Why? She meets all of my qualifications for a wife."
"Merlin's beard, you are a complete scoundrel. Do you even realize what you are doing? Ginny won't even know what she's getting in

When they returned to the Manor, they found Harry waiting for them by the stable. "You left early," said Harry, looking somewhat upset by the fact. He helped Hermione down from her horse, and she noticed that he was dressed for riding.
"I wanted to show Hermione the wizarding village. I had some books that needed to be delivered there," said Draco. With that, he headed back toward the Manor. He seemed to be in some kind of rush.
Hermione turned towards Harry to see that he had a disappointed look on his face. "It was a quaint bookshop, Harry. I could see myself getting lost in it for hours on end," she said.
"Hm," was Harry'

"Are we there?" asked Luna. "Are we at Malfoy Manor?"
"I hope the Duke has a horse for me here. It's not fair that Hermione got to bring Persephone along," said Lavender.
"Father, is that Malfoy Manor?" asked Luna, looking out the coach window.
"I believe so," replied their father.
Hermione couldn't help but feel nervous about staying in Malfoy Manor for the next few weeks. It all had to do with the Duke. She would make sure that he didn't follow through with his intention of marrying Ginny.
"It's so beautiful!" said Luna.
Hermione leaned over Luna to look out the window. There on top of a hill, was Malfoy Manor. It was a

"Good morning, Hermione," said her mother as Hermione made her way to sit down for breakfast.
"Good morning, Mother, Father, Luna, Lavender," she replied greeting everyone. "Harry's going to be here any minute so I'll have to eat light."
Hermione took a piece of toast and spread some jam on it. "Father, the Duke of Manchester has invited us to have dinner at his town house this Wednesday. He wants the family to become better acquainted."
"Hermione," her father started, but Hermione was already gone from the table.
"I must go or Harry will be wondering where I am!" Hermione said leaving the dining room.

"Why in the world did you go back to talk to Miss Abbott during intermission last night?" Harry asked Draco at breakfast.
"Because she was extremely annoying," replied Draco.
"You told her off, didn't you?"
"Me? What would give you that idea, Cousin?" asked Draco as he smiled.
"You are in an abnormally good mood today," noticed Harry.
Draco shrugged his shoulders. He had thought of an ingenious plan last night that he couldn't help but smile when he thought about it.
"Do you want to go to Diagon Alley with me today? I need to go to Flourish and Blotts." asked Harry.
"Not today. I have business here that needs to be attend

"So when do I get to meet Harry?" asked Ginny Weasley to Hermione. They were currently riding their horses through the park.
"Hopefully this afternoon," replied Hermione. She didn't notice that she had started to stare off into space.
"What's the matter?" asked Ginny.
"I'm just thinking about married life," said Hermione with a slight smile on her face.
"And what do you plan to do once you're married?" smiled Ginny.
"Anything! That's the beauty of it."
"As long as Harry supports you then that is what matters," said Ginny.
"Yes, you're right."
It was so wonderful to have Ginny here in London visiting her. She was as fair

Draco was bored and agitated. There were already rumors swelling between the muggles and the wizards at this ball that he was attracted to the woman his cousin fancied after that group of women saw him with her in the park the other day.
Normally at balls, he would spend his time gambling with the men. Most of the nobility that he knew, wizard and muggle alike, had greeted him already. He hardly paid them any attention. He was more focused on Hermione.
It was soon his turn to dance with her. They waltzed in silence for a while. He couldn't help but notice that she was tense in his arms.
"How are you tonight, Your Grace?" she

The coaches were quite comfortable to Draco, even with Griffin taking up most of the room in between the two seating areas. He would be enjoying the ride more if he wasn't receiving disapproving looks from Hermione's mother.
He was beginning to think that maybe he should have just waited for his coach. Draco was pretty sure that everyone in London would be surprised to see him return. In the past, he wouldn't have cared what people thought of him. But now with his return, he was determined to reform himself.
Draco had been away from England for over a year helping fight in France's war. He was part of a special division of wiza

"Father, I seriously doubt that we had this much luggage when we left London," said Hermione Granger as she frowned, watching some of the ship's crew unload boxes upon boxes of their luggage.
With France recovering from the aftermath of its former emperor, shopping in Paris seemed the least bit important to Hermione. But her mother would hear none of it, and insisted that she needed new clothes for her arrival in London.
They had made the trip with her father's friend and fellow wizard, Lord Sirius. There were quite a few wizards left in high society. Of course they had to keep that a secret from the muggles, or non-magic peopl

Theme Seven: Heaven
Tonight was the night of the annual Halloween ball held at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. All of the students had been looking forward to this night since before the school year even began. They had carefully selected the costumes they wanted to wear for the occasion. The only requirement for the ball was that everyone had to be masked. Some of the students wanted to go the extra mile and use glamor charms on themselves so they wouldn't be easily recognized.
That's exactly what he did that night. As he looked into the mirror in his room, Draco Malfoy charmed his usually blonde hair to be a dark, chocolate br
Theme Six: Break
"It is most definitely broken," said Madam Pomfrey.
'Great. This is the last thing that I need," thought Draco Malfoy. He winced as Madam Pomfrey gently touched his nose. Draco was relieved that he had sent his goons away while he made the trip to the hospital wing. He didn't want them to see the tears that were slipping down his cheeks as he sat on a hospital bed.
"This should only take a moment. Brace yourself, Malfoy," said Madam Pomfrey. She pointed her wand to his nose and said, "Episkey."
Draco let out a yelp as his nose shot back in place. He could feel blood start to drip, and Madam Pomfrey gave him a rag to hold
Theme Five: Rot
As I walk through the cold halls of Azkaban, I have my mind set on one thing. I have to see him here. I have to know he's here. Locked away. Forever.
There was a time in my life, in my youth, when I thought that he was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. I honestly thought that he loved me.
It all happened after Voldemort was destroyed by Harry. I struck up a relationship with him when we were just 17. I can't really explain it. It just happened. He had switched sides in the middle of the war, and I guess I admired him for that. Anyone willing to risk their lives to rebel against Voldemort's wrath was admira
Theme 8: Away
She was too far away. She was always too far away. Even if she was a two tables over in the Great Hall, it was still too far away for him.
But this was the way that it had to be.
It was the only way she could be safe.
His father would punish him if he knew that he loved her. The Dark Lord would torture and kill her in front of his eyes given the chance.
But no one could know.
She was safe where she was.
But it was still too far away from him.
Theme 4: Dark
The 'Dark' side, bent on the purification of the wizarding blood lines, was his side. He didn't choose it. The ideals had been ingrained into his head since he was born.
Draco Malfoy was now in his sixth year at Hogwarts. He found himself not caring at all that he was almost finished with his schooling. Ever since his father was sentenced to life imprisonment in Azkaban, Draco's life had turned into a living Hell.
The Dark Lord had been furious that Lucius had not succeeding in his task of stealing the prophecy. Draco wished that he was the one in prison instead of his father. During the summer before his sixth year, the Dark
Theme 3: Light
The 'Light' side was Hermione's destiny. She had known this since she had befriended Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. They were in their sixth year at Hogwarts now, and the Christmas Holidays were almost upon them. Hermione had spent most of her time researching in the library for anything that might be useful for the war that was to come.
She had a sense of dread in the pit of her stomach that something terrible would happen this year. Katie Bell had already been cursed by a mysterious necklace. Harry fully blamed Draco Malfoy, but there was no proof linking Malfoy to that necklace.
Speaking of Malfoy, he had been looking wor
Theme 2: Love
"In dreams and in love there are no impossibilities." Janos Arnay. Draco Malfoy completely agreed with that statement as he read his wife's quote book in the Manor's library. He had been in love with his wife for the past 15 years of their marriage and the two years of dating her before that. All that they had been through in their lives might have seemed impossible to some people, but not to them.
They had survived the Second Wizarding War even though there was a strong possibility that neither of them would have made it out alive in the first place.
They had overcome his family and her friends' expectations for them
Well, I'm working on my new story 'Hermione's Dragon.' I don't know how frequent I will update, but I won't abandon this story. Or the 100 Themes Dramione challenge.
The 100 Themes will be a slow, slow process. I'll be extremely busy this semester with school, but I'll try to write and update when I can.
A big thanks to everyone who has read/reviewed/faved anything in my gallery!
Much love!!! :D
Hey guys and gals!
First of all I would like to say that I am extremely sorry about not updating in like FOREVER!
The reason behind this is that I got a new laptop (Thank God)!!! My old one was on it's last leg, but surprisingly it still somehow magically works. I'm in the process of transferring all of my documents, downloads, and etc. from that one to my new one. So once that's done, expect a much needed update! :D
I have literally never been more excited for a movie in my entire life. I'm going to the midnight premiere tonight, and I'm going to go see it tomorrow night as well. So it's like I'm seeing it twice in the same day.
I will definitely be functioning on very little sleep tomorrow. It's going to be ridiculous!!! But amazing at the same time!!
I've been faving Harry Potter art like crazy these past few days, and as you can see I've been inspired to write Dramione pieces because of this awesome franchise.
I'm actually dressed up like Hermione Granger when she was in 3rd year. Specifically, towards the end when she punches Draco and her and Har
